Difference between OpenVPN and PPTP connection methods:

OpenVPN

+ More secure than PPTP

+ Only compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux

+ Client needed (CryptoCloud client)

+ Harder to setup

+ Port forwarding (login to the Members area to get your port number)

PPTP

+ Theoretically less secure than OpenVPN

+ Compatible with all versions of Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android and some Blackberry models

+ No client needed

+ Easier to setup

+ Currently no portforwarding

It is possible to use our service on two computers, as long you use a different connection method on each one of them. i.e: You cannot use OpenVPN or PPTP at the same time on both computers.

Remember: Your username should always be entered in lowercase.
